The Other Side of the Glass

Ever catch yourself peering out the window, wishing you were on the other side?

I catch myself doing that all the time when I’m in work, daydreaming about doing something, …anything, outside that glass. I’ve spent a lot of years building my career and doing work that I’m good at, but not passionate about. I’ve saved my passion for the things that I do in my volunteering, because I won’t be able to make enough money to survive if I do what I want to do for work.

Is that really true?

Over the last year, I’ve found myself questioning that statement. It’s a major life change and it’s scary, but I deserve to be happy, right?
